CPA probably cannot balance the financial statement. That simple.

Earnings? I guess it is hard to get figures from defunct mailbox companies in the Cayman islands.

Olympus announced the names of a panel set up to probe allegations.

Did Olympus choose the investigators or is this truly an independent investigation?

Just bought an Olympus E-PL2 with the pancake lens. What a beautiful camera!! I highly recommend Olympus Micro 4/3 cameras!!

With every passing day, it looks more and more as though the Olympus board can't get out of its own way. Mr. Woodford looks like a conscientious businessman, and the board look like bumblers.

I will be shocked if the mysterious company in the Caymans isn't directly connected to the board.

Perhaps a more correct word would be "create" the results. You can hide a lot in a financial statement and earnings report. More often what they don't tell you is more important that what they do.

I have heard the name of the cmpany based in the Caymans or wherever that received these massive payments, but does anyone know who the key individuals are behind this company? Or is that all still shrouded in mystery?
