Pasona will conduct a seminar for Japanese companies interested in starting business in Taiwan called Venturing into Taiwan on Friday, Oct 17.

Pasona says there has been an increase in Japanese companies from the service sector considering venturing into Taiwan. In the past, companies in the semiconductor, electronics and chemistry related industries have been the center of Taiwan’s economy but service related companies are viewing Taiwan as a key market to penetrate into China.

At seminar, an expert on Taiwan’s local accounting and payroll outsourcing needs of Japanese expats will give advice. Also, Pasona’s consultant will come to Tokyo from Taiwan to talk about hiring trends in Taiwan as well as laws and regulations regarding HR.

The seminar will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Pasona Group Headquarters (2-6-4 Otemachi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo). Admission for 40 persons is free but reservations are required at http://www.pasona.co.jp/event/140909.html
