Dont think there'll be any hostility at all. Cerberus are an investment fund, they buy ailing businesses, divest what they can, turn a paper profit or at least cut loss and then sell on. In my opinion the issue here is whether in the current market GMAC is a business they can make real money on.

If Chrysler doesnt go to GM, Cerberus will do all they can to find another buyer.

Whoever wants to buy Chrysler and/or GM, they still have to deal with a contaminated product, in that the parasitic UAW still comes with the deal.
