Robert Walters Japan named Gold Partner for Hiring by Microsoft

TOKYO —

Global recruiting company Robert Walters on Monday announced that Microsoft Co has named the firm’s Japan office a Gold Partner for Hiring for 2009. Microsoft awards Gold Partner Certification to organizations it identifies as being at the top of their industries. This is the first time the award for hiring has been offered in Japan.

Yukari Yomo, head of human resources at Microsoft, said, “Gold Hiring Partners are given priority in terms of meetings with HR personnel and participation in hiring seminars, and thus they have the advantage of being able to respond the quickest to Microsoft’s personnel hiring needs. Furthermore, because only Gold Partners are allowed to display the Microsoft logo on their home pages, we have an even higher expectation that our Gold Partner recruiters will be able to introduce us to superior candidates.”

Microsoft selects Gold Hiring Partners based on business performance, number of candidates introduced per year, number of candidates hired, percentage of candidates hired, and overall understanding of the Microsoft organization.
