Yep, the usual increase which happens every June when students start their summer jobs. But these jobs are mostly temporary, part-time, minimum-wage jobs, and are not indicators of a "resilient" economy.

If the congress was run by the Democrats the USA would be booming now, just as it is California where the regressive broken republicans have no power to say no to everything. As they do in Congress. California is growing so fast than now by itself it is the sixth largest economy in the world. The massive debt that the republicans ran up while in power of 26 billion is now a huge surplus of over 10 billion.

Republicans care more about a fake attacks on Christmas than they do about jobs. Obama took the bush/republican economy that was basically in free-fall and turned it around to solid growth and lower unemployment by half. Just like Clinton did when he took over from the failing Bush Senior Presidency. Republicans break things, Democrats fix them. It has been this pattern now for decades.

And they did it doing things that the Republicans have claimed would tank the economy - things like increasing taxes on the rich.

And 9/10 of the poorest states are Republican: http://www.politifact.com/rhode-island/statements/2014/mar/28/occupy-democrats/pro-democrat-group-says-9-10-poorest-states-are-re/

Republicans cannot be trusted with the economy.
