SBI Remit starts overseas money transfer service
TOKYO —
SBI Remit on Tuesday started an overseas money transfer service in partnership with FamilyMart convenience stores. It is the first time in Japan for customers to be able to send money overseas from a convenience store.
SBI Remit offers this service at 8,100 FamilyMart stores nationwide via its fami-port multimedia terminals. The transfer service operates seven days a week from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. and money can be received from 1 p.m. on the following day.
