Sixty percent of their pay for 2 days a month?
If my employer offered me that, I'd think I'd won the lotto.

I agree with shiuu.

sweet deal. 5 month semi-vacation.

60% of my pay to stand by. Where do I sign up?

Out of the way, me first!

60% of your pay is the minimum allowed by law. it's good if you can get by on 60% but not good if you were counting on 100%. it's not great for your career development either.

yeah, but you can work the other 22 days a month. In the same situation I would offer full time to 50% of the candidates and tell the other 50% they will be the first to be hired in September should they choose to do so.

A training session could be a week long...nobody said it was one day.

Doesn't make much sense. I would have them work 60% and pay them 60%. They could have the factory in the best condition they have ever seen.
