The Yen has only really been strong for the last few weeks. Besides, if the exchange rate is so poor, why don't the companies keep their earnings in foreign currency for the time being? Then they can take advantage when the governement tries to force the Yen down in value.
The strong Yen hasn't had any effect on airline fuel surcharges has it? The thieving airlines must be raking it in.
