    This sounds like a prelude to a commodity spike, its tantamount to "we give up, the end of the world is near."

    These Japanese appear to be fatalistic, where have the Japanese of the 70's gone? It could be that the AGE of the population has finally caught up with their view of the Future. In a closed Society, the average age of its citizens determine the direction of the country.

    This move sounds like Japan has decided to roll over and die.
