What's happening to Sony is what American production companies went thru decades ago when it was the Japanese companies who were taking over.

Sony, which is a small player in the global personal computer market, is selling its Vaio-brand PC division to a Japanese investment fund as it looks to concentrate on its lineup of smartphones and tablets.

It will be harder to find a better quality LapTop after this = most of the cheap ones are not work-grade quality.

at this rate the only thing Sony will make will be PS consoles and games. and theyll be made in China if there not already.
