Like many places, the growth is illusory. It's just a bubble based on cheap borrowing to buy condos and fancy cars. You only have to go to these places to see. Most of these countries are trapped in nomansland, neither providing cheap labor, nor educated labor, and just exploiting whatever resources they have to the max.
