So one scandal-plagued member of Japan Inc. is going to sell an operation to a money-losing has-been for a lousy $165 million. And thousands of workers will lose their jobs due to the management incompetence of both firms. Wow. How far the mighty have fallen. Meanwhile, on Friday, tech companies in the U.S., like Amazon, Microsoft and Alphabet (Google) all rose to near, or all-time, share-price highs, due to better-than-expected earnings. Thank God the BOJ can just keep printing money to keep these zombies alive.

Why is Toshiba selling this operation to Sony? Sony has been known as a poor organization turning Apple Butter to S--t. Sony is a bad choice.

This reminds me of a song called 'Dinosaur Dance' my neighbour's kids used to listen to. Touch wood there are Japanese start-ups ready to emerge and replace companies that might be near extinction.

Sony happens to be one of the best, and most prolific, producers of image sensors in the world. Most (if not all) Nikon DSLR cameras use Sony sensors, which are very highly regarded. Sony as a whole might not be as successful as they once were, but they still have some winners in their lineup.

Sony was one of the best companies in the world but in the last 10 years is going to a downhill....they just are still in the market is thanks for PlayStation success. Hopefully they will keep it up soon in other electronic market and not just video game industry
