Toyota the greatest Automaker in the world, and a great company too. So the Japanese and the Germans beat the US's No1 GM who is now 3rd in sales.

Keep it up Toyota, you make great cars right from the little Daihatsu models all the way up to the top Lexus models, a car to suit everyone in there fleet.

@Jap2day09 Actually Daihatsu is a subsidiary of Toyota. That is why you don't see K Toyotas

Hi StromR, Toyota don't make Daihatsu.

You're right they only OWN the company, much like they OWN Lexus, sorry to have to correct myself.

Daihatsu is Toyota's K car arm, Lexus is Toyota's Luxury car arm, EXCUSE ME ! Being in the car industry my whole working life 43 years I know nothing.

Hi StromR, Toyota don't make Daihatsu. no they just own the company. Toyota agreed that keeping the Daihatsu brand image was smart in the small car market. same goes with Hino trucks

I went to the last Tokyo Motor Show and the Toyota exhibit was like herding cattle through the slaughter line and the staff were as friendly as butchers. It was a miserable controlled experience. Could barely even see the cars behind the staff and weren't allowed to even stop and look.

While on the other hand, Suzuki, Mazda, Kawasaki's exhibits were great, friendly staff, and you could sit on or in their vehicles.

I've soured on Toyota since then... I mean, come on! Even Porsche, Land Rover, and Tesla allowed you to practically roll around inside their cars!
