Toyota Boshoku begins production of Corolla seats in Changchun, China

Toyota Boshoku Corp has recently begun production of seats and other interior components for the Toyota Corolla, in Changchun, China through Sichuan FAW Toyota Motor Co Ltd.

Toyota Boshoku already manufactures Toyota Land Cruiser and Prius seats at the Changchun branch of Tianjin Intex Auto Parts Co for delivery to the Changchun plant of Sichuan FAW Toyota. In addition, Toyota Corolla seats, door trim, floor carpets and luggage area trim are manufactured at Changchun Faway Toyota Boshoku for delivery to the new Changchun plant of Sichuan FAW Toyota, which began operations earlier this month.
