Gov Haley Barbour said he never lost confidence in Toyota and supported the company’s decision to delay production.

Ha! This coming from the same person who made statements that the state of Mississippi gave too many concessions to lure Japanese automakers to his state. Throw a Dollar at this guy, and he'll do and say anything for you.

I agree with Weasei. He is a typical southern redneck governor (r).You may want to read some listed below how this guy has no intelligence and sensitivity as a governor.

(CNN) – The press secretary for Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour resigned Monday after Politico reported that Dan Turner wrote internal e-mails poking fun at former Attorney General Janet Reno, and that he made insensitive jokes about the earthquake in Japan.

This is good for America as it creates jobs. Too bad all 41,000 that applied could not get one. 1 out of 20 lucky one.

For people that don't live in the USA.. all these manufactuing plants the JP are building in America... Mississippi, Alabama, etc etc.. They are going there because those are some of the cheapest labor states in in the United States... and some of the most poorly educated also.
