"Wasurenomics"? What happened to creating and maintaining manufacturing jobs here?
Also, hasn't the last few years shown Japanese companies that China can be a volatile place to do business whenever they become politically grumpy?
Invest in Southeast Asia if you're not going to invest in Japan.

So, we pay more taxes to allow tax breaks for corporations who will raise workers' pay , except they just took the money and are opening factories in China. Sounds like our taxes are subsidizing Chinese workers' pay.

Toyota have a good record for keeping production in Japan as much as is possible. It is one of the world's largest companies, just edging their bets IMO. When the yen was about 80, this from the WSJ.
