strange that when GM "government motors" looses it top spot to Toyota again, there is mysteriously another recall brought on Toyota. hmmm!?

There are some other facts consistent with Toyota's track record. They still manufacture and sell the largest number of vehicles with the highest quality standards in the world. The recalls? They haven't stopped people from buying their cars.

Recalls are a fairly usual thing with all manufacturers and recently GM recalled the chevy cruze 5 times, Toyota seems to get singled out with publicity more than other car makers and often its nothing more than an attempt by some to try to topple the worlds greatest car maker.

@ Bob if you actually followed the recalls the biggest and most damaging was the sudden acceleration problems they had on some models, in the end NASA actually tested the Toyoyta software/hardware and could find no problems whatsoever, but unfortunately damage to the brands image was already done, very convenient for GM emerging from bankruptcy
