    I agree, considering their recent quality issues, all of the recent natural disasters (along with so many people suffering), and the overall economic picture, I don't think this is the time for Toyota to be making such 'boastful' announcements.

    In the US Toyota still has a fairly solid reputation for reliability but the cars they sell here are boring - that's why they're falling behind some of the competition..
