    small cars are selling well, but Toyota made alot of big cars/trucks also. You also have inflation and prices for these cars must rise = Toyota maybe losing money right now and also must shift production to more fuel efficient vehicles.

    Companies like Suzuki (only make small vehicles) are selling out while Toyota is sold out of the small cars and stuck with many larger vehicles. People want the Toyota Prius/Corolla, can't get it and goto a Honda Civic, Hyundai, Suzuki. Also many people are trading in their large vehicle for a smaller one = the glut of large vehicles gets worse.

    @ westurn: But they won't be penalized for the stock market gains. And GM took a massive hit when the fake numbers were repeatedly published. Double booking of CKD builds I've been saying for the past two years.
