Good idea. The less involvment with Government Motors the better.

Corolla, Matrix/Vibe all good high MPG cars that sell well. I would turn this plant into a hybrid/electric vehicle plant. And put a good solar roof on all California cars --> use that free sun power to its' utmost. Solar body panels too. =A model plant for people to see what a solar/electric/hybrid can be.
Many people looked over the Prius due to cost when compared to a Corolla or Yaris. But in time the Prius will hold better resale value. People that bought the Prius came in to buy the Prius (they had already made the decision) --> this plant will help them make that decision.
An Eco-Car plant, trees inside (like Ferrari) and everything.
