Hmmm....crappy seatbelts?? Toyota Motor Corp is recalling 310,000 of its FJ Cruiser sports utility vehicles worldwide because the seatbelt anchor could become detached through wear.

The retractor is mounted on the B pillar not the rear door. The rear door hinges are also on the B pillar and the weight of the rear door opening and closing must be cracking the cheesy J made pillar. Compare thickness and strength by looking at comparable American and German Suv B pillars.
