I wonder if, in the aftermath of the VW scandal, we are going to see a lot of "recalls" from different car makers for various reasons in the near future.

*i own a 2002 Camry, but is not listed on the "recall" list, i had a window problem right rear side. Took my car to the Toyota Dealer to fix and it cost me a lot of money. Can i still avail of the benefits. I still drive my 2002 Toyota Camry and have the receipt to present.

Didn't they have the same recall a couple of years ago? Water ingress into the windows switch?

@Luz sounds like you vehicle doesnt have the fire hazard problem, your problem just sounds like normal wear and tear on vehicles as they get old, Toyota warrenty wont cover problems that old on vehicles
