That unpredictability from the world’s second largest economy is a source of concern for currency traders.
Not really as these traders make vast amounts of money out of volatility. However, not being able to preempt China's moves means that their collusive natures are tested when dealing with the yuan....,,

The "war" is not being fought to make national economies more competitive, the devaluation is a desperate attempt by central banks to inflate away part of their national debts which are now so heavy that they cannot be supported any other way.
