    And even if you don't buy it, you are still getting screwed.

    Who do you think is going to pay for the production of a coin that costs more to make than its legal tender value? Taxpayers?

    Even if they do profit from selling off the coins (people are stupid) it is unlikely that profit would go back to the taxpayers. It'll just line to pocket of some politician.
