Yokohama Rubber Co to build new tire plant in Mississippi

Why the Company go to Burma and build factory there? Burma has produce tens of thousands of tons of Rubber every year which go to Malaysia and Thailand by illegal trade route.

The new factory will build tires for USA automakers. It is cheaper to make here and sell here than import from Japan or somewhere else. There are so many Japanese auto factories here in USA.

People in USA know the name of Yokohama Tire. Just like Nintendo, it has advertisement display on walls of Major League Baseball fields. People do not remember the name of American tire company.

Bridgestone has factories in Japan, too. Both make tires for large cars and any cars in USA. American auto insurance companies use Bridgestone tires.
