As Obama himself put it, “If the Japanese can design an affordable, well-designed hybrid, then, doggone it, the American people should be able to do the same.”

Ah, but its not the American people who are designing it, its the American Government, and thats incompetent. I will never buy another car from either Government Motors or Chrysler.

The American Goverment is a person? The cars will be designed by car designers/engineers.

and thats incompetent.

Because GM, Chrysler, and thier designers/engineers (apparently the American people) were so competent that their companies went broke.

However designed to meet specifications laid down by loony libs like Obama. Eco-friendly, not people friendly.
