Very different than Iraq. I wish them well.

Another big difference:
Iraq: population 34 million, covering many areas of the country.
Libya: population just 6 million, mostly in cities along the Mediterranean coast.
That will allow Libya to move things along faster.

Excellent points about the demobilisation of the military and debathisation. Other issues are para-militaries what to do about them and were national heritage sites protected. Both atrociously handled in Iraq. Of course being internal.
You can't change to a democracy overnight from a dictatorship it takes slow long development. Its crazy that they want national elections next year. First develop local councils so people have a taste of local democracy.
