Were people around the world really expecting him to be God, as Mehmet Onal is quoted as saying in the article? And people say Americans are ignorant?

People here still don’t quite understand American politics, the idea of political majorities, Congress or the U.S. Constitution

well there you go... and that goes for most US politicians, and Americans too... especially the last part.

Obama's domestic as well as fiscal policies(Or lack of them) have cooked his goose.One can only blame the previous administration so many times.We need a president who is focused Not on the worlds problems but on Our problems on the Homefront.

People expect President Obama to clean up EIGHT YEARS of Bush-it in two years... Support politicians who DONT support the cleanup effort, then assign blame because the jobs not done yet.

People expect President Obama to clean up EIGHT YEARS of Bush-it in two years

No people are expecting to see progress, not to clean up 8 years in two years. They don't see any progress being made. If people saw progress this mid term wouldn't have been such a big defeat for obama.
