Yeah great article. Not had a chance to read up much about Taiwan with my Japanese learning at Uni. Definatley inspired me to buy a new history book so i can learn abit more about Taiwana. Thanks again...Still I dislike what China are doing!

I'm sure Ma will figure it out. He may be for better relations with mainland China but I'm sure he's not for reunification under the PRC.

If any Taiwanese should think that their current economic and legal infrastructure is based on purely indigenous roots not owing to Japan's pernicious imperialist agenda, they are more foolish.

If any Taiwanese should think that their current economic and legal infrastructure is based on purely indigenous roots not owing to Japan's pernicious imperialist agenda, they are foolish to the extent Japan shouldn't bother supporting their independence. They should ought to support their re-unification with China and experience first hand how benevolent Beijing is.

Some one that wants to forcefully take you over by pointing over a thousand missiles at you and continually dares you to make a move, or stick with someone that is actually a true friend?? DUH!

But with Ma and the KNT,,, who knows what is in their heads??? Who was that that went to China got on his knees and kissed he ground??? KMT party chairman Lien or some idiot like that? That was disgusting now wasn’t it. Eeeeeeeee! Gag throw-up
