If FIFA were a country, it would probably be a corrupt Middle Eastern oil state, where the ruling class/family keep the masses happy with every larger handouts, as long as they keep quiet and do not rock the boat (or should that be "gravy train".
In fact, it sounds a lot like Qatar. Now, that is a coincidence.
The decision to hand Qatar the 2022 World Cup was so clearly a corrupt decision that it is not even worth bothering with an investigation. Too hot, too small, limited facilities, nothing to see, no history of football etc. etc.
