Three suspicious fires at garbage collection sites were confirmed from Sunday night to early Monday morning in Sapporo, police said Tuesday, adding that 10 similar fires have been reported since May within a 600-meter radius of the area.
According to police, a fire was seen at a garbage collection site next to a hotel around 10:50 p.m. on Sunday. The other fires were reported at 2:40 a.m. and 2:50 a.m. on Monday at garbage collections sites outside apartments.

Well...Garbage is flammable. At least the arsonist has somewhat a brain. But what about the enviornment? Global warming?
