14-year-old student arrested for indecent assault

A 14-year-old middle school student was arrested Wednesday for indecent assault after he allegedly grabbed a female student in her teens, threatened her and grabbed her breasts.
According to police, the incident happened on Jan 22 and the two did not know each other. Authorities are investigating whether or not this is an isolated incident.

And the boy did this out of the blue? Maybe, maybe not. As usual, swimming in a sea of my own imagination for such a major lack of details.
But consider if she kneed him in the groin first. More than likely he would not consider going to the cops and how far would it go if he did? But she goes and makes claims and its instantly poor her. I can either great this with skepticism or fall victim to my imagination. I am going to file this under "to be continued upon receipt of details".

Did this happen at the school? If so, why did the teachers/principal call the cops instead of trying to deal with the situation themselves? Seems like something that boys of this age will often do. A good talking to by a scary teacher will usually deter most from such inappropriate behavior.
On the other hand, if this was an assault on a street and the boy just came up to her and grabbed her, I can understand that the girl would have been very frightened and that someone who witnessed this would have called the police.

Don't laugh, I got grabbed in my teens once, hurt like hell. But now I kind of like having my teens fondled and groped. Why is this a news story? Because some girl got pissed off at a guy and then said something and he's instantly guilty?

Like 99% of the teenage boys I encounter. Talk to a girl and possibly get shot down vs cop a feel and get arrested. This boy chose the wrong option.

Umm, allow me to simply say, I find this attitude to be part of the problem. Pushing it aside, giving em a slap on the wrist is simply not enough. Anyone who does this should be arrested and charged. Being a horny 14 year old kid is not an excuse for his behavior. Trying to hide it, and cover it up is not the way to handle the situation either.

This is a weird and definitely unacceptable situation... but I just can't see how this would happen...
