Is it just me, or are these daily occurances starting to desensitize you from them? Each day I'm waiting for the murder/suicide or knife attack that you know will be reported at some point during the day.

Nice description. Time to bring in the police sketch artist.

If this man is caught and identified by the victim he must go to court at once.
If convicted, he shoule be executed immedualtly to deter other perverts.

I would not be so worried about perverts. I would be worried about slashers.
Part of the reason people do not head your blood-thirsty calls for summary execution is because you do not even have the sense to point your finger in the right direction.
Another is because only in the mind of a child is death an effective deterrent. We adults know what really keeps people in line, day in, and day out. Hint: It is not fear of execution.

He is very tall cyclist. When they nab him, and after he serves his time in jail you could send him to London for 2012 'Olympic Games.' I wouldn't mind the spent few minutes alone with him. Good suggestion would be that Judge hang some fish around his neck and drop him in Antarctica. 'IT IS A RUB: JAPANESE GIRLS SHOULD TAKE UP SOME DEFENCE LESSONS.'

People who do things like this should have it done to them as well so they can taste their own medicine. That goes for murder too.

The shock factor of these sickening incidents does were off after the first thirty or so. I'd just like to be there when one of these cowardly bastards attempts something like this. He'd wanna hope he has a big knife and knows how to use it! - For years I have tried not to generalize the Japanese society over events like this, but I can't help but look at most Japanese men and wonder is going on in the their perverted little minds. I just have a fear I am actually gonna catch one of these twits in the act and do him some serious damage, which will end my time in Japan, not his.
serindipity at 09:15 PM JST - 12th September
Woops! Typo - 'wear off' not 'were off'.
See, that's how much these sick bastards upset me!
elbudamexicano at 09:50 PM JST - 12th September
I hope the police catch this sick bastard out in Fukushima as soon as possible!

That is a funny thing to be brought up. There had been instances where American Military folks that witness crimes like this in the past(okinawa) had made the decision to detain such criminals until the JP's get on scene. Media hype had been seriously downplayed, but they were thanked by the victim and police. Double standards, or just not newsworthy enough?
Personally, if a slasher like this is caught, I believe in the "eye for an eye" justice should be invoked during their prison sentence. They should feel the cold steel slicing through their skin and taste the fear as they helplessy watch themselves get cut.
That must be the parent in me. After raising four children, you get very protective of their well-being and wish the worst to those that could cause harm to them.

Seriously, all it would take would be a few of these fools to get a facefull of pepper spray and a couple of kicks in the nuts. They'd all these morons would be too scared to do stuff like this.
