This is getting boring!!!! As I said in an earlier thread, the police should look to crush clowns like this. Where is a judge with a sense of humor, pass the death penalty on one of these idiots and others might take notice.
Ok, now they just want attention. Another sick way of crying for help, but unfortunately Japan has no proper effective way to assist the citizens in their society with these kinds of social issues.
To the people saying that this is just a false alarm: Would you rather have the police ignore such postings? Would you rather risk second-guessing the resolve of a person who is clearly disturbed enough to post such a disturbing threat in the first place?
In case nobody has considered this, I'm pretty sure there were stabbing and killing sprees before the internet. All this "We're taking these messages seriously" is only sending one message: If your planning a massive killing, just don't brag about it beforehand.
These are all copycat posters, not copycat killers.

I think someone who really wants to go on a murderous rampage wouldn't post anything online too far in advance.

I bet Kato had "No evidence" of planning a crime, right upto before he bought his knife and rent-a-truck...

You'd have to be goofy in the head to try something like that. What a dumbo.

Here we go. No excuse for the nutcase, but clearly a part of the blame is on the media who glorified Kato with their wall-to-wall coverage.

It's very fasionable in Japan at the moment to threaten a stabbing spree.
