TOKYO —
Police on Thursday identified two bodies found Wednesday in the mountains in Iizuna, Nagano Prefecture, as a missing 54-year-old woman and her 51-year-old brother in Akiruno, western Tokyo. The bodies of Yasuyo Obuku, a library worker, and her younger brother Hirokazu, were identified from dental records, according to police.
Police served fresh arrest warrants Thursday on Kazuo Okikura, 60, and Yoriaki Imaruoka, 64, on suspicion of abandoning the bodies. The two suspects were arrested by the police on April 21 on suspicion of withdrawing more than 5 million yen on 15 occasions from the victims’ account. Okikura, a former employee of the Akiruno city government, admitted to the allegations, saying he and Imaruoka abandoned the bodies to conceal their crime, investigators said.
Imaruoka, who runs a civil engineering business, earlier confessed to the police to abandoning the bodies, leading to investigators finding the remains. According to the investigation, the arms and legs of the two victims were tied with adhesive tape and Yasuyo possibly died from suffocation because her mouth was sealed with tape.

Greed and Evil minds...never a good concoction. Let's hope Japanese justice is swift in keeping these monsters off the streets for the rest of their lives...
