So does this mean that if you had tried, possessed cannabis in the past that you can still be indicted even if you haven`t touched it in ages? I thought you can only get nailed if they find it on you...

Holy crap! From the looks of the news, the country is awash in Cannibis! It's made "inroads" into the university campuses, It's in the high schools, it's in the sports world. Next thing ya know some politician is going to admit to tokin' up while on vacation in Hawaii!

These dopers are everywhere, perhaps it is time for Japan to pull out the big stick and squash this problem once and for all. What about a public execution or two down in front of Shibuya Station. That would fix the problem (maybe). The condemned would not even have to be guilty, just somebody of note.

What's really shocking is Junior High School students do it too !!! Is this really shocking news ??? I hope they don't say, " A Foreigner masterminded and put the idea into the kids head ! " And since he is 16 years old. When he was 15 he must have been in Junior High School. Did he sell it in Junior High tooo ? Hmmmm ? Something to think about !!! Maybe the kids parents is the suppliers.

Only in Hokkaido this happens ? They should look into Los Saitama and other Honshu Prefectures. Like say ummm, " Tokyo " ? I think it is more accessible in the big city. Hmmmm ??? Something to think about ?

4000yen per gram? that is steep i think it is 10 euro in holland per gram (and before the euro it was half off that). I used to hang out with a lot of smokers :p

It's probably the decline of the Japanese society, a sort of moral decay that is effecting all fractions of the country , maybe it's due to apan's openess to new ideas i guess' because you gotta admit no elderly smoke it .

Police are doing good job grabbing such people, and they should concentrate more to catch the fish and hang him or life in jail. with the amount of drinking that goes on in this country, people should welcome weed. Sorry, but I ain't never heard of anyone getting high on weed and then speeding the car or becoming aggressive and staring fights.
