2nd suspect arrested over fatal stabbing of 2 men on Chiba farm road

Police arrested a 31-year-old man Sunday on suspicion of fatally stabbing two men with a knife during a squabble late Friday on a farm road in Abiko, Chiba Prefecture. Shigeki Hashiba, a junk dealer of no fixed address, has admitted to the charges, police said. On Saturday, his 61-year-old father, Shigeru Hashiba, was arrested over the case.

According to the investigators, Shigeki and Shigeru Hashiba fled the scene by truck after killing Hideyuki Sannohe, 60, an electrician from Ibaraki Prefecture, and Akira Hiratsuka, 61, a scrapyard worker from Chiba Prefecture. Sannohe and Hiratsuka were driving separately in a car and a truck that approached Hashibas’ truck on the road and they got into a traffic dispute.

Meanwhile, police also arrested Yuko Sannohe on suspicion of illegal drug use. She has been in the protective custody of the police since the crime and has behaved in a way that made them suspect she had been using drugs, they said, adding that she has also admitted to the charges.

It's more than likely that the murders in this case of "my road syndrome" knew their attackers. Judging by the ages of the victims and one of the killers, it is safe to say the problem is from "way back"

Scrapyard worker killed by junk dealer------ The old woman lost her source of income at her age prison makes the most sense. Same as the old hag who slashed two women last week.
