2 Tokyo men arrested for burying boss's corpse in Saitama

Police in Tachikawa have arrested two men over the disposal of their boss's corpse.

According to police, Atsushi Tanaka, 33, and Takashi Hanada, 22, employees at a public works company, were arrested on suspicion of dumping the body of the company president, Kohei Tazaki, 24.

TBS quoted police as saying that Tazaki was known to have been drinking with Tanaka at his apartment on the evening of Sept 14. The following day, friends and family reported that they had lost contact with Tazaki and that his whereabouts were unknown.

During police questioning, Tanaka claimed that Tazaki had asked him to leave at around 11 p.m. because another acquaintance was coming to his apartment. However, police say he later confessed after CCTV camera footage was found of him using a company truck to transport Tazaki's body wrapped in a vinyl sheet and mattress.

TBS reported that Tanaka's testimony led officers to the premises of a construction company in Tokorozawa, Saitama, where Tazaki's body was found on Thursday. Police said that Tanaka claims Hanada helped him to bury Tazaki on Sept 15. Hanada has so far denied any knowledge of the incident.

In continuance with the previous posters' discussion, should you find yourself having killed someone in Tokyo, then naturally it's time to head toward Saitama.

Ah, so there was no crime in burying him in Akihabara then :)

Since you are media driven, here is an experiment. Go to Saitama tomorrow then come back here and write about your near-death experience.

It's obvious these bozo's killed the boss and attempted to dump it somewhere but got caught and charged with illegal disposal of corpse. what ever happened to murder or man slaughter charges? i guess they are going add the murder charge later after an investigation but the current official charge just sounds lame and inappropriate when these guys seemed to be responsible for the death of their boss.

tokyodoumo,

The corpse disposal charge buy the police time to "interview" the suspects about more serious charges.
