So, that means you can pretty much do anything you like in other areas of Japan cos all the police are in Tokyo and Hokkaido

the Self-Defense Forces are also stepping up security on an order by Defense Minister Shigeru Ishiba against possible terrorist actions, such as airplane hijacking...

    ...or alien invasion, no doubt.

They seem to have installed stick-weilding policemen on little pedestals at every Tokyo station.

Yeah and I think that to complete the required amount they brought some cops back from retirement, the one in my station is so old that you will see him shaking while standing

Dont be mistaken, those stick wielding cops have been out and about in nagoya for a few weeks already, not to mention the unusually high presence of cops on the roads. Paranoia is out there Japan wide people. Gaijin card. Dont leave home without it.

Paranoia is out there Japan wide people.

    Speaking of going overboard......

Heres a funny one, found a poster in the subway. Had not seen this one before. No it was not the lame comic who says gooood gooood goooods poster. This one was even better.

It was a military recruitment poster, showed soldiers wearing radiation suits entering buildings. In the caption it said, FIGHTING TERRORISM...

I laughed my tail off when I saw it..............
