So what, is China deliberately trying to push Japanese companies out of their country, or something?

Are you saying crime investigations should be forestalled in the interest of business and money?

These people have been detained for the purpose of investigation, not summarily jailed. Wait for the facts to come out.

Anyone want to go start doing business in China, send your ship there to deliver or pick up cargo, transfer some staff there, invest in the place? Do so at your own peril.

Damn sounds like China is getting desperate. Being the bully again and detaining people? How about you talk directly to the company board rather than holding hostages?

One thing about China is that they can find fault in anything and everything even to the point if nothing is there to find fault over China will create it so China CAN find fault over it.
