Just a sec JT, I do not want to tell u how to do your job, but isn't the title of this so misleading it would cause the average layman to think it was a domestic (japan) based story?? Or has America claimed japan as it's own. I would also point out that one company above mentioned is Japanese. also why is it in the crime section, not international?
Moderator: It is an illegal activity, involving a Japanese airline. It belongs in the crime section.

They mention 2 Japanese companies. But yeah, is this a "crime" story? Did the companies face criminal or civil punishment?
Moderator: It certainly is an illegal activity.

buggerlugs - Valid points. Still not as important as 3 Colombians stealing from an apartment though!
They have these fines but do they have to be paid now or are they suspended?

Give it a year or so and a lot of airlines/tour companies will be in serious strife over the "Gasoline Surcharge" that we have paid over the last 12 months or so. A scam if ever I have seen it.

They really need to get on lots of companies in Japan, especially in the retail industry. Price fixing in Japan is like a runaway train!
