3 men, brandishing baseball bats, rob Oita game parlor
OITA —
Three men burst into an arcade in Oita City on Tuesday and hit a staff member and customers with baseball bats before making off with 1 million yen in cash.
According to police, just before 1 a.m., the three men rushed into the parlor and hit the female manager and two male customers with baseball bats and then demanded money. Two of the victims received severe injuries to the face.
The three men are believed to be in their 20s and were wearing green workers’ uniforms.

Was it really necessary for three men to bash people's faces in to pull of this robbery?
I would like to say that no one should be a hero over cash, but when men with baseball bats bust in you don't why. Maybe they want money, maybe they want kill random people. Maybe both. But don't go thinking a baseball bat is a minor weapon just because its made for a game. A baseball bat is a very effective and well-balanced club. They are more dangerous than nunchaku. So I love the bravado of people who think they are going to defeat 3 men wielding them single-handedly in a surprise attack. Good luck with that!

You could concievably "step inside" the arc of someone swinging a bat if you were quick, but anyone who knows anything about fighting wouldn't swing it. They'd use it as a two-hand ram into the opponent's face. The action happens much faster than a swing and is much more difficult to evade/counter.

Knowing first-hand(or head)about attacks by bat you would give them ANYTHING to stop the swinging!!They surprised the victims and knew about the money .inside job,lads!
