terrible! where were they crossing? J-walking? was the little green man all solid or flashing about the place? was the child walking way out in front of or behind the mother at a point of risk? did this take place on a bend or flat stretch? ganbate little guy! please survive. I hope the driver hands them self in soon for arrest so that the cops don't screw it up by investigating.

easy with the comments guys, like romulus said, there ARE horrible drivers here, I should know, I almost get hit by them everyday while on my bike, but many people also don't look before they cross the streets, (I've almost hit people on many occasions b/c they decide to cross while staring down at their shoe laces) so the mother and child may be to blame here, we don't know. But the driver should have stopped, that's for sure.

Well, I don't know whether it was an accident, the kid went running, or etc. But the person driving the car should have stopped to at least check on the child, i mean the driver couldn't get arrested for something that wasn't his fault, and even if it was, he still should have stopped.
