AICHI —
Police on Thursday arrested a 45 year-old man for raping a 21 year-old woman in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture.
Akio Hirai, was arrested for allegedly raping the woman, who works at a sex-related business in the city, between July 26 and 30.
According to police, Hirai visited the victim’s sex shop as a customer and persuaded her that he could exorcise the evil spirits that possessed her by having sexual relations with her. Police said Hirai threatened the woman after she began to doubt his spiritual powers.
Hirai, who works for a computer company, was quoted by police as saying, “I pretended to be a psychic to gain the victim’s trust.”

A five day rape. After five days she started having doubts about his spiritual powers? She works in the sex industry. I'm having real problems feeling sorry for this girl expect for her possibly being the dumbest thing on the plaanet!

Maybe theft or fraud is a more accurate description.

Altria:
It doesn't say her charged her anything or took an money from her, in fact he was a customer in her shop so I don't think theft would apply.

She works at a sex shop, which could mean just a shop that sells sex toys. That doesn't necessarily mean she works there in any other capacity. Also, regardless of her occupation, if she chooses to say no to someone, then it's considered rape if the man forces or threatens her to have sex with her. In this case, it just may be his word against hers.
Also, there's no information WHEN she said no. Maybe she said no right from the beginning but he held her for five days...it's possible, but maybe unlikely.
She might not be the brightest crayon in the box, but that doesn't mean she has no rights.

It's not rape if she agreed to the sex, then regrets it days later.

“I pretended to be a psychic to gain the victim’s trust.”
Never heard of people trusting a psychic so often. Wrong move man...

Unless there is more than being told in this story, I wonder where the "rape" is? I see a vivid imagination, lying, gullibility and/or stupidity. But rape??? She agreed to have sex with him because she believed his fairy tale. That ain´t rape, no matter how you turn it.

You mean an American Serviceman WASN'T involved?
She had a SEX SHOP and she was maybe testing out one of her toys with the customer and things got carried away (like one of the spirits told her to do it)?
Or maybe the guy's check for the sex toy bounced and now she's mad?

No. The article does not say she was raped for five days straight, or even a number of times. It says the rape occurred on one of those five days. Maybe she cannot remember which.
I take that to mean that no sexual relations occurred except for this one time he coerced her by threating her. That is rape.
The article says she works in a sex related business. Could be a lot of things, including things I would not consider to be sex related, like an escort service or a hostess club.

Ok can we say stupid person for allowing some boob to trick her into putting out? This should not be brought to any court. If she feels that she did not get what she asked for. Then let her take it to civil court. This will be tossed out of any criminal court room.
