46-yr-old man held for kidnapping 20-yr-old girlfriend in Chiba

Police on Wednesday arrested a 46-year-old man for kidnapping and detaining his 20-year-old girlfriend at his apartment in Ichihara City, Chiba Prefecture. Nobody was injured, police said.

Shigenori Endo, a resident of Kawasaki, was arrested for allegedly kidnapping his girlfriend, who is a vocational school student, from her apartment by threatening her with a knife around 12:40 a.m. The suspect took her to his apartment by car and detained her for three hours. He was found by police and arrested after the victim’s roommate reported the incident to police.

Police said the suspect has admitted to the allegation, saying, “I didn’t like her attitude toward me.”

I think he is a mental case. Why is he involved with a girl under half is age? She probably got fed up with him, and he couldn't take hi.

Lock him up for 10 years, kidnapping is serious, she must he ben terrified.

I never have understood what a young woman would see in an older guy - unless she had some issues of her own to deal with. I just laugh at my peers as they try to pick up the young birds at the business functions. There's no fool like an old fool!

There is plenty a 46 year old would want from a 20 year old especially in Japan. The dysfunction is more linked to the guys knife point approach to solving his problems, rather than the relationship with a younger woman. Most men that I know would not bark at the chance of having a younger wife, girlfriend or lover if they could.

He is old enough to be her father, and she can only blame herself having so old boyfriend. Possibly she has some grid for money and she found a big 'Dad,' to look after her. Could she went to far towards him, and he attacked her?

Maturity, experience, money. Knowing how to dress. Knowing how to conduct a date and the best places to do it. Wisdom. The calmness that comes with age. The way we appreciate a young woman with zeal. And that is just what can happen with age alone. Some of us have always had character in our favor, and strangely, even the kind of character that lends itself toward kidnapping can have some pull.

I am dating a girl 15 years younger than myself right now in fact. The girl is very particular and due to her own nature I do not think she could get along with most guys her age. --Cirroc
