NAGOYA —
Five Brazilian men were arrested Thursday on suspicion of killing and robbing another Brazilian man in August in Aichi Prefecture, police said. Rogerio da Silva, 33, and four others, all of whom live in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka Prefecture, allegedly stabbed Brum Tadashi Namekata, 31, from Gifu Prefecture, to death and robbed him of 200,000 yen in cash and drugs on a street in Kitanagoya on Aug 23, according to the police.
The arrest came after the police had questioned them on Wednesday on a voluntary basis as they had surfaced as suspects in the murder case through phone records of Namekata’s mobile phone as well as footage from a security camera near the street. Police believe the five called Namekata in order to deprive him of the money and the drugs.

Brazilians of Japanese ancestry? Nikkeis, Nisseis, Sanseis? Had they won the Nobel Peace prize, they would not be just plain Brazilians.

Samuraiiki,
This type of selective journalism is to be expected. But you do have a point.

No wonder there are so many "Japanese only" signs in Japan. Before accusing the Japanese,we should think more seriously about the way we,foreigners, behave in Japan.

Anyone that is applying for visa should be checked out for drug offences. Airport Customs and Security should be doing better job, such people on drugs you can read their faces from far away, without asking them any questions.

sorry for the late man, but drug dealers are dealing not only drugs, but their lives as well. Well Japanese are being paid now in their own home what they did to others in their homes, in the past.
