Police in Tokyo have arrested a 58-year-old man after it was discovered that he had been stalking his former partner by using a global positioning system (GPS) attached to her car.

According to police, the suspect, Hiroshi Onosato -- who is from Kawasaki -- used a GPS attached to the car of his ex-girlfriend, who is in her 40s, to track her whereabouts and stalk her on two different occasions.

TV Asahi quoted police as saying that although Onosato had been warned to stay away from his ex-girlfriend twice since July, he did not heed their warnings.

Following his arrest, Onosato was quoted as saying, "I wanted to know where she was and what she was doing."

Awww come now. Just admit you understand this guy. Everybody here at some time didn't trust their partner completely.

MEN and WOMEN cheat!!!

It's just that some people like to leech off you while they build up another relationship. Sort of like a monkey trying to get hold of another branch.

This guy was probably trying to find out the TRUTH!!!

With all the lies and liars out there I don't blame him. Girls will even lie to cover for their girl friends. I SAW IT!!

GPS doesn't lie.

Anyway it's over for him. He'll get a slap on the wrist and this story is over.

You are talking about stalking your girlfriend - which is pretty creepy. But this guy was stalking his ex-girlfriend - which is even more creepy.

And by what right does he have to do this? Re-read the article, he is a FORMER PARTNER, so that means the relationship was over.

BTW guys are worse than girls when it comes to "cheating".

@JWithers you do know the meaning of ex right? It means over, finished, kaput. The guy should get on with his live, and go back to his love pillow.

No I don't understand this guy. She wasn't his "partner" anymore. Your comment has no relation whatsoever to the article.
