SAITAMA —
A 64-year-old man was arrested on Sunday night for strangling his 68-year-old lover’s husband, 75, in Tokorozawa City, Saitama Prefecture, on May 23. The woman had already been arrested on June 2 and has told police she was a conspirator in the plot.
Masaaki Ohara, 64, was arrested for allegedly strangling Ryoichi Takahashi, 75, and stealing his bankbooks from a safety box. Fumiko Takahashi, 68, who had a key maker open the box, was arrested on June 2 after she turned up at a local police station with her daughter and confessed.
According to police, the two suspects have been in a relationship for seven years, while the victim didn’t work. Fumiko told police she has been “virtually” divorced from the victim. Ohara, who lived in his car, was found in the car park of the Tachikawa velodrome in Tokyo with one of the victim’s bankbooks.
Ohara admits the allegations, police said.

Dang, some lady was cheating on her unemployed husband with a dude that was living in his car? And she shows up at the cop shop with her murdered husbands daughter? Man that is sad.
