Just when I think I've heard the worst of news...I hear something like this. My prayers are with the Grandfather and the remainder of the little girl's family (Parents and Friends). What a senseless loss of a precious life.

This is Japan,this is a Japanese family,most murders here are committed by family members.Yes it was the child's grandmother,that doesn't mean much in this country...it matters a hell of lot where the parents were in this day and age depending on the family.Are you going to tell us the parents had no idea she had mental problems next ?

Story news is very short to understand what was going on. We will have to wait to see the reason that grandmother had to do such crime. Before judgment is made we have to get familiar with the scenario of crime. Hope that JT will keep us in contact with updates of the story. This lady (killer) just made her own bead in jail cell.

It's true none of us knows what made this woman do this. What I do know is that bamboohat calls the sham for what it is, and as we watch (sadly) this society unravel further and a recession bite ever deeper and more and more people come unstuck, we're in for a lot more if this. People just cannot buy the old myths. It's every Hiro and Keiko or themselves from now on. Kinda sad really...

rest in peace little one. if a juvenile committed a crime like this you may still blame it on ignorance; even hardcore and vicious criminals love and protect their own families. Hopefully this is only an isolated case.

Really sad and terrible incident. Seems unbeleivable. May Allah bless her soul and let grandma understand what she did was not the only solution to each her grand child a lesson.

It looks like grandma fully realized that life really does suck, and decided to prevent the suffering of her granddaughter,and end the suffering of her husband and herself.Like all life's tragedies,things like this,and all tragic things, will continue endlessly. The earth continues as usual. We just leave it.
