Agreed if the foreign sumo guys got kicked out of sumo for marijuana this guy should never be allowed to do any sort of acting again. Anything else is double standard seeing this drug is much more illegal.
Don't get me wrong, I have a very low opinion of this clown and what he did. But if he's gonna try to get out this by telling fantastic lies, why doesn't he just say he got the drugs from the dead girl? A lie that no one can deny.
With his strong acting skills I'm sure he'll act his way out of this one...
About the thing of calling his manager, all these tarentos are owned by their management companies. They can't open a packet of biscuits without an all clear from their boss.
He called his manager instead of emergency or police? She may have surivived, barely perhaps, had he made the correct choice. Why is it that most people in these situations always call a manager, family member, or lawyer? Never the proper authorities that can actually deal with the problem and not be concerned with saving his ass. This stinks!

This shouldn't have mattered or even have been a consideration in this type of situation. A life was in peril here and the proper humane thing to do was to call the equivalent of 911. It shows how meesed up their priorites are.
why do people automatically blame him for the use of drugs? maybe the girl got him drunk and said "take these and then lets ....". He may have been so drunk and horny that he didn't care. May have thought them to be guarana tablets. she could have been a real doped up whore. Every gaijin jumps to defend the Japanese female and loath the Japanese male.
bobbafett, If he was sober enough to call his manager, he was sober enough to call for help. The only way he couldn't know if the drug were illegal was if they belong to her, but I'm pretty sure he had to know they weren't taking aspirin.
I can excuse the drugs but I cannot not excuse leaving that woman to die, if they can charge him with a crime in regards to her death, I hope they do.
At least there was a small amount of justice, he called his beloved manager to save his butt, and when the mess hits the fan, what's the first thing they do? Dump him!
where did the drugs come from? who gave them to who? no facts on this. could very well be that they were the woman's (she was a hostess and likely had access) and she just o.d. and he just panicked cause he was also drug impaired. no telling without more facts.

HEY GW,
What if it's not Oshio's side calling in favors, but instead this "unidentifiable" mystery girl's relations wanting to end this matter quickly.
I'm smellin'-a politician's illegitimate child or maybe a niece.
